Our Classes

Hillyfield has 27 classes and a 75 place Nursery that offers 15 full time places.

Our teachers work closely together in their year groups in planning and monitoring work, to ensure that all children have equal learning opportunities, and achieve their full potential.

Our classes are a rich mix of ability and our children are drawn from over twenty different cultural backgrounds. To support the progress our children make, in addition to the teacher, each class has a teaching assistant who provides targeted support for individuals and groups of children.

We have many visitors to our school who invariably comment on the high standards of behaviour, confidence and friendly nature of our classes.

Our classes are fortunate to have access to stunning outside play spaces that we also use as outdoor learning spaces when the weather allows!.
